Where to Live???

Josue had his orientation on Tuesday for his new position. They told him that he will train in Fountain Valley But work in Torrance. (3days/2days) They will pay for gas money, but where in the heck are we supposed to live? ?

I grew up in whittier, so we are going to look in that area for now. But we are pretty open to anywhere. Anyone know of a good place to rent for about six months? In six months he will be placed in a permanent restaurant, in the greater LA area. We found this cute little house to rent in Whittier, we are going to go look at it on friday. So we will see how it goes. But I hate this up in the air feeling. I can't wait for the 6 month period to be over, so we can finally settle into our new lives =)

Wedding Rings...Check!

So we picked up our wedding bands on friday yay!! We decided to wear them for a couple hours (is that bad luck?) Then when we took them off Josue asked me, ok so how did you like being married? =) I thought that was cute! So I had to AW our wedding bands here are some pictures;

We bought the wedding bands at Jewelry Mart in Fullerton. (Justins Fine Jewelry) I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of jewelry, some of the best prices around!! Josue got a Tungsten Band, and mine is White gold, matched exactly to the engagement ring!!

My New Nephew is Here!!

Alright so he's not really my nephew, but my best friend from high school Heather just had her baby boy; Ebin Ezekial Taylor. He is precious.

She was at the hospital for about ten hours until she had baby Ebin. He was born at 6:22pm and weighed 7lbs. 3oz. He's tall too, 21 inches! I had to go home around 10:00 so I didn't get to hold him, but I will go back tomorrow and hold him and kiss him =) I can't wait. I love him so much already. I am so proud of Heather, Love you guys!

Its Back!

So I am a girl with many addictions; The Knot (and the knotties), Cupcakes, Newly Blogging & Blog Stalking ;) But most addicting is watching Grey's Anatomy with my BFF Vanessa. We totally supported the writers strike since my Uncle is a screen play writer, but we very much missed our fav show Grey's Anatomy. We are super happy it will be back on tomorrow night at 9:00pm on ABC! We always watch it together and then talk about it afterwards. This season hasn't been the best so far, but we look forward to the rest of the season, and await it's plot twists and turns.

The Actors: Because they make the characters come alive.

The Characters: Because we’ve all fallen in love with at least one of them

The Music: I think I come out with two or three new favorite songs out of every episode of Grey’s Anatomy. I can’t list them all (way too many)

The Writers: Because they make this show what it is, and boy am I glad the strike has come to an end so they can get back to doing what they do best.

The Guest Stars: A lot of great actors have walked the halls of Seattle Grace leaving behind some unforgettable performances.

Alright I just wanted to share my excitement that my show is back! Nessi and I are ready for our "Grey's parties" =)

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Josue Got the Promotion!!!!!

So Josue just got back from work, and said "so she called me" I got bummed because this was supposed to be bad news if she called. But he tricked me, and he actually got the promotion!!!! He his now an Associate Manager for Claim Jumper. We are going out for celebratory dinner and drinks tomorrow night! I can't wait. I'm going to make a whole night of it with balloons, and card maybe even a gift. I am so happy for him. He totally deserves this. I have to give a shout out to all my knottie friends who gave their vibes and prayers. And give a big thank you to all my great friends, and amazing family who prayed, and gave their support to Josue. We both appreciate all the love so very much. So now the big question to which Claim Jumper will they send "us" to. We can basically be sent anywhere. We are hoping to stay in LA/OC areas. It looks like Palmdale & Thousand Oaks are big contenders though. I guess we will have to wait and see on May 1st when he goes to orientation. Ok so once again thanks to all who supported us. I knew you could do it babe! I am oh so proud of you. Love you so much!!! Muah!

Was tons of fun as always. Wish I would have played musical chairs more. I didn't get to quite meet everyone. There were so many of us this time! Maybe I will get a chance at the next GTG! Can't wait!

More Blogging, and a New Heading!

So I am trying to do more blogging than before. I can't promise everyday, but I am trying to increase the frequency. =)

I just wanted to thank Melissa (csunsweetie) , a girl I met from the knot. She created my new heading, and told me how to put it up. See, I'm getting more tech savvy everyday!!! ;)
