Did you know you could name a star after someone?

OK so if you know me you know I LOVE stars! I have heard that you could name a star after yourself, and I always thought it was kind of a cool idea, but I figured it was really expensive. Well it may be silly/stupid to some but I thought what the heck and I researched it! I found a website where you could name a star after someone for only $19.95!!! Heck for that cheap it's a super cute idea. Anyways I thought I would share the websites info in case anyone else loves stars as much as me =)

Star Website

Everyone loves having a star named after them! We have named thousands of stars for all sorts of people - Friends, Lovers, Parents, Children, Etc. And stars are always guaranteed to please. Whatever the occasion, naming a star for someone is the most imaginative way to show you care. See how impressed and appreciative that special someone will be when he or she receives such an unusual and creative gift from you. You'll be a star too!
Your star name will be registered in the Universal Star Catalog’s database featuring hundreds of thousands of stars numerically designated by the world renowned Smithsonian Astrophysical Institute. Each star is copyrighted with its precise stellar coordinates allowing the star recipient, friends, family or anyone – including future generations – to identify the star name and locate the star in the sky using a telescope.

How to PIP

On the Knot or any message board it is fun to post pictures.
Here are some directions on how to do that
Thanks to PinkCheese and Janice74 for assisting in these instructions!

for PCs:
If the image doesn't have a url, create one by uploading into Photobucket and resize. Take the direct link and copy.
If the image has a url, just right click and go to properties ---> copy url.
Take the url, and create a tiny url using www.tinyurl.com
When it makes the tinyurl, click on the link to "open in new window"
Right click image and select "copy"
"Paste" the image into the message box and voila!

for Macs:
If the image doesn't have a url, create one by uploading into Photobucket and resize. Take the direct link and copy.
If the image has a url, hit ctrl+click and select "copy image address"
Take the url and create a tiny url using www.tinyurl.com
In the message box, write out
To ensure it isn't bolded, be sure to select the entire url and click apple+b
BTW I totally stole this post from Melissa (Csunsweetie) I hope she doesn't mind, I just wanted to have a helpful blog, and something to look back on when on forget how to PIP =)

Table Numbers

Yesterday Josue and I took some photos for our Table Numbers. These photos will be used for our table numbers at the wedding. We took them at places that are of importance to us, or that we love to go to. We will take the rest in a couple weeks. It was fun, and I think they are unique, and cute. I hope it will get our guests up to mingle, and look at the different pictures. I bought 5X7 frames at dollar tree to put them in.

These two were taken at Neff Park in La Mirada. We take our walks here all the time. I'll post more soon!

Where to Live???

Josue had his orientation on Tuesday for his new position. They told him that he will train in Fountain Valley But work in Torrance. (3days/2days) They will pay for gas money, but where in the heck are we supposed to live? ?
I grew up in whittier, so we are going to look in that area for now. But we are pretty open to anywhere. Anyone know of a good place to rent for about six months? In six months he will be placed in a permanent restaurant, in the greater LA area. We found this cute little house to rent in Whittier, we are going to go look at it on friday. So we will see how it goes. But I hate this up in the air feeling. I can't wait for the 6 month period to be over, so we can finally settle into our new lives =)

Wedding Rings...Check!

So we picked up our wedding bands on friday yay!! We decided to wear them for a couple hours (is that bad luck?) Then when we took them off Josue asked me, ok so how did you like being married? =) I thought that was cute! So I had to AW our wedding bands here are some pictures;

We bought the wedding bands at Jewelry Mart in Fullerton. (Justins Fine Jewelry) I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of jewelry, some of the best prices around!! Josue got a Tungsten Band, and mine is White gold, matched exactly to the engagement ring!!
