30 Days- Day Three

Day 3-Your first love

I'm not sure if this post was supposed to be about my first literal love which would have probably been my cat, or my parents, or some toy. But I took this question as asking who was the first person I have been in love with. I had a couple short relationships and a few dates, but the first person I fell in love with is the person I know call Husband. I remember the day I met him like it was yesterday, September 30th, 2001. We started out as friends but there was something special about him. Once we started dating, we fell in love right away, and I knew he would be the person I grew old with. Josue is an amazing Man, I love that I get to fall asleep next to him every night for the rest of my life. The first 2 1/2 years of our marriage has had its challenges but with each experience we go through we just grow stronger as a couple, and love each other more for it. I love the man I call Husband, and I am so happy that he is my first and only love.

Day 2-Meaning behind your blog name

My Blog name is NOT creative at all, actually after reading other peoples blogs, I've considered changing mine. If only I could think of something interesting. I have recently added a sub title which basically explains who I am and what my Blog is about. I got rid of the "Newlywed" part since technically I am not a newlywed anymore.

Hi my Name is Daniella Karinne Esquivias. I grew up in North Orange County with my awesome Mom and sister Kimberley. I married my best friend Josue after 5 years of dating on 08~02~08. We now live in Long Beach, CA with our 3 cats (Lola, Pinky, and Bella) and new puppy (Bentley). We are starting our careers, trying to buy a house, and start a family.

This is a recent picture of my husband and I in Big Bear, for his first ever trip to the snow!

15 Random facts:


1. I have 5 birthmarks

2. I can play the Piano

3. I like cool weather much better than hot, but would never want to live in the snow.

4. I don't look like it, but I go to the gym at least 4 times a week.

5. I would love to live on the East Coast or Northern California, but I can't leave my family & friends.

6. My favorite color is pink, but I also love green, red, and black.

7. I love going to the Dog park, with my Bentley! I love seeing him happy.

8. I don't hate being a SAHW. I love that I get to volunteer, cook, clean, and spend my time how I want to. But I know I need to get a job if we we ever want to buy a house.

9. I love to travel, but I hate that the stupid bus accident makes me scared.

10. I LOVE Puerto Rican food especially Mofongo.

11. I met some of my very best friends on the Internet. I don't know what I'd do without them.

12. I'm glad I started going to church again

13. My Mom is one of my role models, because she is amazing!

14. I hate doing laundry!

Moms of multiples are freaks of nature

I had to share because this video cracks me up!!

Magic Bars

Every Christmas my Mom makes a ton of sweet treats. My favorites of her many recipes have to be the fudge and her magic bars. This year I decided to make her magic bars with my special twist.

Ingredients:

1 yellow or even chocolate cake box mix

1 stick of butter

1 bag of milk chocolate chips

1 bag of white chocolate chips

1 Can of sweetened condensed milk

- For fun you can use colored white chocolate chips they ususally have green and red around Christmas

Optional Items

Coconut

Nuts (walnuts or almonds work best)

Peanut Butter Chips

Carmel Pieces

Butterscotch chips

The easy how to:

preheat oven to 350 degrees

Melt the stick of butter

Mix butter and cake mix

push into greased 9x13 pan

bake for 15 mins

take out of oven and layer all you chips, nuts, coconut etc.

Pour condensed milk evenly over top

Bake for 15 more mins or so
